Respect the poor

or Jah will give you no more

and you will never know the cure

Jah will close your door

You will become filled with sore

And you will end up on a violent tour

Respect the poor

avoid the bullet core

look, you skin bore

like the movie style, noir

if dont keep your heart pure

with 100% love for sure

point and laugh at the poor

you finger get chop off for sure

now you count 1, 2, 3, 4

Put you hand in the air, if you want to hear more

Disrespect the poor

Now you gone on a violent tour

get rushed through the hospital door

Like red wine, you blood a pour

You shouldn't direspect the poor

The doctor say him can do no more

Now you gone to hell for sure

Above the body, the spirit soar

Non-grammtical body left on the floor

You shouldn't have disrespect the poor

Should have approached with 100% love for sure

Instead you approach greedy as a boar

Should have thought twice before

Now, your flesh is being ravashsed like a whore

Don't Disrespect the Poor!

Having lived a frugal existence since I was 19 (currently 49) I respect the poor and have learned that giving is the greatest thing you can do for your fellow human.

Respect somethingblue, what I have noticed is that humble people are the only people who look out for the poor. Once they get rich, they forgot about the poor.

Yeah my folks are that way, they think money first. When I was young and struggling with addiction their solution was to throw money at the problem hoping I would go away and not embarrass them.

They still live by the almighty dollar, but they have learned that giving love is more important than money to me and as long as I live at least a 1,000 miles away we get along great.

Respect Cardisa, I think lastheart and others gets it. I do publicist work in reggae(not now). I am thinking of pitching it to some Artist. Buju option too way off.

This is an important attitude, we should never look down on anyone.....and life is funny, tables turn. The poor that people disrespect today, could be the one that would be so rich tomorrow and would help them.

Great Hub. Cheers.

Respet Lady E, Thats the same thing my mother always says. Never disrespect anyone, because that person may be the one who help you out in the future.

Couple Years ago I was late for a job interview and the interviewer turned out to be a Girl who I had trained couple years before. She was now my manager and she thanked me very much for helping her in her early years when she was poor and desperate.
